Rani was busy preparing her equipment to conduct this round of experiments.

If she had a dollar for every time the Doctor’s ship collided with hers, practically handing her a lab rat, she’d have two dollars. It wasn’t a lot, but it was ironic to have happened twice.

• Rani doesn’t label her sexual orientation (like most time lords), but could be described as being bisexual and grey-romantic.
• She does identify with femininity/womanhood, but in a very alien sort of way.

• She makes her own cosmetics, including makeup and nail polish. However, she doesn’t capitalise on any of this because she has no real care for money. Plus, her formulas are excellent and she will of course gatekeep them.

• Despite viewing humans as lesser, she enjoys both Opera and Metal music.

• Rani is 5’8” and appears to be anywhere from her late 30s to her early 40s.

• Rani may make purposeful use of Americanisms around English-accented incarnations of the Doctor/Master, and pronounce Scotland/Scottish in *that* American way to really piss off Scottish incarnations of the Doctor/Master.

• Her appearance is subconsciously based on her second incarnation’s appearance- a testament to her ego- and her American accent comes from her continued grudge against Peri Brown.

• Rani is incredibly resentful of the Time Lords & Gallifrey in general regarding her exile. She views it as an act of great disrespect towards her and her work, and regards their losses in the Time War as deserved.
