I am thinking a lot about a statement today and I think it's worthwhile to talk about why I alt text/don't repost stuff that doesn't have alt text, and how I landed here with it.

I gotta become an artist that makes mini comics about their identity and MH issues, instead of throwing them in all my work like parmesan in pasta and then somehow grabbing people w the same experiences like remy got anton in ratatouille.

Been thinking abt my old witness au while I work on this zine. Unfinished large illustration, compilations, all the things I wanted to do..robbed by depression & canon being so similar. Ironically, that's what I wanted to avoid when I started it 😐
A few people liked it but I doubt anyone cares now.

I think the thing that is making burn out extra difficult to deal with these last few years is just how dehumanized art has become. It was already bad with the pressures of satiating social media, add engagement farming accounts that repost art uncredited and GenAI on top...🫠 ofc we're not ok
