Hello Bluesky People, I’m currently looking for some solidarity and compassion. I’ve chronic bowel problems (months where I cant stand up without an accident), They’ve finally scanned my bowel/sphincter which is really damaged, perhaps I will get surgery and an implant but need an accessible toilet

Delighted to announce my eldest has managed to grow from our Sheffield’s Council House with a sole disabled mother to Chethams School of Music and soon 🩷Queens College Cambridge 🌟 …. And their band is playing on the 23rd June at the alder bar in Kelham Island - check instagram

Very frustrated that disability-related benefits are discussed only in terms of a work / benefits binary. Actually (Personal Independence Payment) helps me work. Take it away & I would be LESS able to do my job - less independent, less able to care for myself. The clue is in the name, Liz Kendall.
