I’ve never made it through an Ari Aster film. My incipient thought is, if I wanted to watch an art film, I’d go to a museum or a gallery. And even if the film in the museum was 2 hours, at least it wouldn’t put on the illusion of something happening in it.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.
