So cool. When we were there in 2016 it was relatively quiet, but on our night visit to the crater we saw little spatters being launched into the sky, which the guide told us was new. Later that year we saw the house we stayed in by the coast on CNN - burning in lava.

A few years ago I went to an old farm in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and ate a couple of antique Red Delicious apples from an abandoned orchard outback, and damned if they weren't, well, Red and Delicious. But otherwise I'd rather eat chalk.

The problem is that is not how it's being marketed or used. Yeah, AI works very well for some niche tasks (evaluating medical imaging for cancer for example). But it is terrible for lots of things it's being marketed for (writing legal briefs).

And to be clear they were *bragging* at only being right 70% of the time. Like this is their *selling* point.

A leading legal software company was bragging that is AI tools were more accurate than the competitors - meaning they were still wrong 30% of the time.

That's a lot of malpractice, folks.
