Did you know that AI leaves a footprint?

If you copy/paste ANY text from an AI like ChatGPT it will typically leave a footprint in the html code of your page. For example, it might leave something like <p data-start= in your html code.

Search engines like Google and Bing can easily see that code.

Since when is Google's AI Overviews in two different languages?

For some reason, they're showing "Construcción modular" and then linking to the Spanish wikipedia page.

I've never searched in Spanish, as I don't speak Spanish.

Is ChatGPT adding UTM parameters to their URLs? Because I did NOT add that source to one of my URLs.

This appears to be someone who searched ChatGPT and they clicked thru to my site.

Kind of interesting that ChatGPT would appear to add a UTM paramater on URLs.

Why?

Technically speaking, it's not eligible since no customers or potential customers visit my business address.

I actually don't want Google to associate my agency & website with one particular location.
