I doubt that most of the costumed thugs of ICE have the sensitivity to see the message the costumed resistance is sending.

Their costumes are just silly as the ones ICE wears, w/o the sadomasichistc tone. They conceal their ethnic identities, which must drive those knuckle-draggers nuts.

Remember the patriots who dressed as "Indians" when they dumped tea into Boston Harbor to protest unfair tariffs?

Taxation without representation is still tyranny.

The counter-cosplay that the Portland resistance is doing may look silly, but it takes tremendous courage, & is important work.

By denying Trump the images of street violence he needs for a credible invocation of the Insurrection Act, they may be saving us all from martial law.

Reporters: stop using the deferential term "detaining" when talking about ICE goons' abduction of innocent people from US streets. You proper term would indeed by "abduction", but if you want to pretend neutrality you could use "capture", which at least says nothing about the captors' motives.

Here's an idea for those of you w/ AV skills: next time he gives a speech from the Resolute Desk or a meet & greet in the Oval Office, add a laugh track every time he lies.

Easy peasy. No AI required. Nor any actual I from him.

Protesting this way works for 2 reasons:

1) It neutralizes the domination theme of the cosplay videos they make. Putting cuffs on a frog looks silly.

2) Everyone knows toons are infinitely malleable/stretchable, so cuffs don't work on them.

Plus, they mock the masking.

OK, that's three reasons.
