A constant obsession with what, when, and how to obtain more; overeating; hiding or hoarding; secretive eating behaviors; inability to stop overeating or continual eating.

It can be stopped without drugs.
POUNDING AND SLEEPLESSNESS

Want to lose weight? Then gain sleep.

When tired there are hormones that stimulate hunger and cravings. Also insulin resistance increases.

Cues needing more sleep: awaking tired, yawning, falling asleep <5 minutes. For better health make time for meditation and sleep.

DENTAL HEALTH AND CANCER

Numerous studies show a connection between dental health and general health. A recent study shows 80% or more with heavy plaque are more likely to die than those with lower plaque levels who live 13 years longer. For maximum health have regular dental checkups and cleaning.

DRUGS AND THE GUT

Some drugs will weaken the immune system and destroy the good bacteria in the gut; e. g. antibiotics, cortisone, all cancer drugs, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). For best health have a diet that adds probiotics and fermented foods when using these medications.

GREASY KID STUFF

Too much sugar, fried stuff, refined flour, and meats from factory farms hurt healthy gut flora. They damage the healthy balance of good bacteria in the GI tract. For best health eat less of these foods, use max probiotics, and increase healthy foods & veggies that feed probiotics.

For those having difficulty trying to reduce or eliminate sugar in the diet, there are studies indicating that 500 to 750 mg of glutamine in three daily doses can help.

An effective aid to lose weight as it helps to be aware of the signals that the body gives and the emotions that overcome you as you eat.

Some food allergies are due to a lack of them. Dietary changes can greatly improve overall health.

Raw vegetables and fruits contain natural enzymes but processed foods and cooked foods do not. Add multiple types of raw organics to your diet.

If you think that you have an insufficient amount of enzymes then consider diet modification and supplementing with digestive enzymes.

Harvard study of 80,000 people over 12 yrs found that by drinking water in place of sugary drinks you lessen the chance of having diabetes by 7-8%. Sugary drinks can also be replaced by unsweetened coffee or tea which will further decrease risk by 12-17%.

A U. off Indiana School of Medicine study looked at more than 5000 drugs that have side effects. Average finding was about 100 side effects and one had over 500. Many of the drugs were created just to cope with side effects of other drugs.

It seems that taking DHA regularly Is a good way to avoid vision loss that comes with aging. It prevents buildup of toxic residue in the retina. A food plan could include low mercury sardines, tuna, mackerel or salmon, or find a quality mercury free fatty acid supplement.

People showering for 15 min in chlorinated water can absorb more chlorine than drinking 8 glasses of the water. Primary way for mutagenic and carcinogenic chemicals to enter body is through skin by direct absorption. Result might add to rising rates of disease, cancers, and allergies.

Belly fat around the major organs is a danger. Studies have found that if there is a lower ratio of waist to height then there are fewer health issues.

Examples: a 6’ male’s waist of 36” and a 5‘4“ female’s waist below 32” are considered healthy.

??? OVERWEIGHT = ENOUGH NUTRITION

Many studies show older overweight Americans are NOT getting all needed nutrition. Too many empty calories.

They lack many nutrients including vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately lack of proper nutrition over time starts to create symptoms of needed correction.

TAKING SUPPLEMENTS WHEN?

Don’t like vitamin burp w/ aftertaste either? Avoid by taking your supplements just before a meal instead of afterwards. For most people a meal that follows eliminates or minimizes the problem.
