They just texted me they aren't coming today.
I can't imagine promising something to a client at my job and then texting them "actually nah I won't do it". I'd feel so much shame I wouldn't be able to show my face ever again!

Contractor left my living room like this yesterday and said he will "come back tomorrow". It is already afternoon and I really hope they do come... I wanted to put my christmas tree up this weekend and I'd prefer to not have this paper on the floor for days or weeks or months 🥲

Spent a few more hours today cleaning the downstairs. So much stuff still covered in fire extinguisher dust after the burglary. Seems like we also had rats inside at some point. Feels like a neverending battle. Hopefully some day I'll be done with dealing with this tree disaster...
