Have purposely avoided social media as long as possible. Time to speak up and get involved. So, hi everyone, pleasure to be here.

The #EastWing was considered the #heart of the WhiteHouse given its history of outreach and diplomacy.

When Truman renovated the WH due to structural weakness from added floors, he took apart a bulldozer and rebuilt it inside to cause as little damage as possible

Before you ask,

#MikeJohnson doesn't know.

Please choose your reason why:

Not in his lane
He's been very busy ...as you know
He hasn't had a chance to read that, yet (false hope)
He is unaware, of that situation
The ballroom is the president's priority - as you know
“I don’t know anything about it.” Devastating supercut of how Mike Johnson keeps playing dumb to avoid answering questions.

Mills will be 80 when sworn in if she wins. The oldest freshman senator. Schumer backs her bc old wealthy establishment politicians keep each other in power even if they're ineffective. I'm not supporting Platner here, but it's insane how Dems refuse to address their massive gerontocracy problem.
The thing about Platner is he is currently running against Janet Mills who is also an anti-fascist who wants a more equal country — I think there’s a case for him but there’s also a pretty obvious case for her.

He’s up against Maine’s two term Dem governor, not JD Vance.

"Yesterday was almost literally a 21-hour workday."

(What hours does he work when the House is actually in session?)
RAJU: You said yesterday you were still trying to get the details of this $230m Trump wants from the DOJ. Now that you've had some time, are you ok with taxpayers potentially being on the hook for that kind of money?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not trying to dodge. I haven't had time to get the details

Even in the movies, scenes of the White House getting blown up by invading aliens or terrorists feel emotionally unsettling.

It’s the People’s House after all.

So imagine having to witness its destruction in real life…and the culprit is the President.

If I had gotten caught sporting an emblem associated with Nazi death camp guards, I would probably avoid the slightest hint of conspiracism about the Elites who control The Media, but Platner appears to be betting that antisemitism is just the water we swim in now.
If they thought that any of this would stop us or deter us: they clearly don't understand our movement, and they don't understand Marines.

Merkley: "What we've seen is that democracies no longer die bc men w/guns go in and take it over. Instead, it's electeds who erode the separation of power. If you have a rubber-stamp Congress & courts that deliver more power to the executive, suddenly you have an authoritarian state. It's here now."

As a matter of current law, could the president just…knock down the entire White House? Just raze the whole thing to the ground?

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 80th day out of the last 92.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Breaking: The Supreme Court is now officially considering taking up a case overturning same-sex marriage.

This is the first time in history the court has considered rolling back this right.

Does lying about demolishing the entire East Wing of the White House with zero consultation with Congress, the National Park Service or anyone else something that will reach the low info voter who doesn’t watch the news? Will anything reach them?
