Equality is an abstract term suitable for math. There is no equality.
The rule of law is a nonsensical construct. Laws are written on paper. They do not rule.
Rules are enforced by humans. Those enforcing them have their own ideas as to what they mean.
Equality under the law is gibberish.

What we witnessed was a "Piece" plan in Egypt. There was no "Peace" plan on the table.

We're just witnessing Trump's latest scam. I'm not sure what happened in Egypt. I have yet to see a credible report of what transpired. I doubt we ever will.
Gaza is in total ruins, over 2 million displaced people, tens of 1,000s have been killed.
Israel & Hamas have done a hostage exchange. Peace?

Trump's deals are all Hydras. Things only get worse each time he does something.
God knows what he's just pulled off in Egypt. The one thing I feel sure of is that he will profit personally and we will be worse off for it.
It seems like both sides are preparing to say the ceasefire was violated.

Cease fire and hostage return are good, but thousands have been killed, Gaza is rubble and some 2 million people are displaced.
Benny giving Trump a rim job in Israel and an international circle jerk in Egypt are not solutions.
We don't really know what's going on.
Our press is tripping on spin.

I finished "The Butterfly Lampshade" by Aimee Bender. She is unique as a writer. I say this having spent a lifetime reading 1,000s of books.
I've reserved "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake" at the library. I imagine I'll be reading her books in succession - she's a wonderful storyteller.

Large, public, violent confrontations with the police/authorities are exactly what this administration wants to see happen. Trump wants any excuse to declare martial law.
If you're inclined toward violence, seek help/counselling. Don't use Trump as an excuse, a pretense, to act on your pathology.
