I’m a family doc who ended up on the wrong side of the stethoscope.
There's already so many things to impeach Trump over but nothing will happen until Dem control the house. I shudder to think how much damage he can do in the next 13 months.

We had what was the perfect end to our Thanksgiving celebration after the aunts and uncles left - 6 adults and a 8 year old playing highly competitive rounds of hide and go seek in the dark. Lots of laughs, priceless.

We are becoming increasingly unsafe in our country. Why would anyone risk visiting the US right now? I feel for the travel and hospitality industries that have a lot to lose if we can't control gun violence.

Elon Musk donated $277 million to Trump so he could steal the federal government’s data, dismantle the nation’s infrastructure, and stop foreign aid from going to nonwhite people. It’s a quid pro quo breathtaking in scope, corruption, and damage, & completely unprecedented in American history.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

Seriously tho, this is a well-reported piece that make it hard not to conclude that Patel is using government resources to enjoy the trappings of a mid-level celebrity, like hosting his buddies for a golf retreat in Scotland.

"No, this is not cost-cutting or isolationism. This is picking a side – Putin’s side. Any pretence at even-handedness has gone. The tragic truth is that, kompromat or no kompromat, Trump is behaving precisely as he would if he were a Russian asset."

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

If the President can impose his own taxes and use the proceeds to spend on his own projects, all without Congress, we have a dictatorship not a constitutional republic.

Schumer led Senate Democrats in fighting Trump over healthcare, period.

If you think Senate leaders can control members of their caucus, you don’t know much about the Senate. And before you say “McConnell,” remember why we still have the ACA when Trump and McConnell wanted it gone.

This is how we lose. A prominent person posted that they were angry and suggested that every D senator be primaried. When I respectfully questioned the wisdom of that, I was blocked. And, a person who told me I was wrong to question person #1 also blocked me. This is counterproductive; sigh.

Making the best of where Ds are means we need to message smartly.
Dems want ALL Americans to have enough food and good healthcare.
Or
Rs want hardworking Americans to go hungry and to go without decent healthcare coverage.
Or
Rs are serving up hunger and medical bankruptcy; Ds serve you.
