With great sorrow and deep pain, we announce the return of the body of our beloved Uriel Baruch, of blessed memory, from the Gaza Strip, after nearly two long years of prayers, hope, and faith.

The memorial will take place today, Wednesday, the 15th of Tishrei (October 15), at 18:00, at the “Netzach Uriel” synagogue, as previously planned.

Further details regarding the burial ceremony and reception of visitors will be provided later.

May his memory be blessed.

We also shouldn't forget that administrations in the US had the power to stop Israel's occupation of Gaza and Palestine as a whole at any time in the past 70+ years. Israel is entirely dependent on support from the US and countries in Europe. There could have been peace generations ago.
