We have weird weather in the #berkshires, unseasonable warmth followed by sharp drops in temperature. After two serious freezes, here’s what still grows in our #veggiegarden: #redcabbage, 2 kinds of #kale, 2 kinds of parsley, mixed lettuces & #rainbowchard.

We've had four previous corgis. The first, Cassandra, was diffident, picky about whom she liked. Duffy had been abused before we rescued him so a bit problematic. The next two rescues, Hobbes & Remington, were great: affectionate, happy guys, sweet and also well mannered.

Pericles had a surprise sleepover guest this weekend. He was a gracious host to Albert, shared his bed and all his toys, and they played well together, Peri modulated for Albert’s size and age.

We had a #freeze in the #berkshires so we rushed to #harvest the tender #crops from our #veggiegarden. This is part of the #pepper haul: #poblano #shishito #banana #bird sweet bells just turning red & not yet yellow and some killer hots that I’m sharing with friends & neighbors
