Mark Carney could remove the emissions cap, the tanker ban, and anything else Danielle Smith demands. Her proposed pipeline still wouldn't get built because the business case for actually filling it gets worse with each passing day.

Danielle Smith’s pipeline still doesn’t have a business case
The biggest obstacle standing in the way of another pipeline to the West Coast isn't the tanker ban or federal climate policies. It's oil prices and the nature of the businesses that rely on them for ...

Reprehensible! The UCP is virulently anti-labour and clearly doesn't care about children's education.
Thanks to @jimbostanford.bsky.social for clarity on this issue.
Alberta teachers saw their real salaries cut by 13.2% since the last contract started in Sept 2020--the worst in Canada. The Alberta government wants to lock in that pay cut by ordering teachers back to work. The teachers' position is 100% morally & economically valid. #canlab

The NL NDP will increase the amount of public housing in NL. 👏 👏
Desperately needed!
🏡 We continue to see both Liberals and Conservatives devalue public housing, leaving folks at the will of the private market.

That's why today, NL NDP Leader Jim Dinn announced the NDP's plan to build 1000 affordable, public housing units per year all across this province.

Over the past 4 years, the waitlist for NLHC units has risen to approximately 2500. That is 2500 too many.

An NDP Government will come to the table ready to tackle the problem, taking bold action to build 1000 housing units across the province that are both affordable and accessible. Every year.

Every Canadian deserves the right to fight for fair wages and fair treatment.

But the government keeps siding with bosses in bad-faith deals.

It's time to fix that. The NDP is pledging to put power back in workers’ hands by throwing Section 107 out the window.

YES! It's bananas for us to act like we can win a war with the USA through a ground game.

We need diplomacy, better relations with other allies, etc.

Yet, even Global Affairs Canada (our literal diplomats!) are not excluded from the funding cuts. Yet DND and the RCMP are.

It boggles the mind!
