TL:DR version: if you wanted to do better this year, do better. Do not push fellow lefists away or overly shame them, we need allies. Educate each other, be compassionate, do not tear each other apart when the enemy is watching and laughing.
For all of the above, please work together starting in the next year. We need the punks to dismantle the system. We need the old libs to build a new one. We need the code switchers to keep the centrists in line and bridge gaps. We need compassion from all people. With love, Ryan. /The end.

I am not doing resolutions, but there are some things I would like to ask people to look into.

Some of these are going to sound contradictory, as I am asking people with different goals and drive to work together.

Feel free to bail at any time from unc, I won't feel bad. 1/?

2026 may very well include me making my first comic book since I was 16 in 1997.

Imagine The Borrowers and David the Gnome but folk horror.

This looks like something from Creepshow.

The hands of the dead, killed by the demented fuhrer, holding up a lump of his feces in the shape of the globe like a cooperative of dung beetles.
Person who actually deserves a trophy is the artist who made the FIFA peace prize trophy look like everyone in the entire world holding their head in their hands out of secondhand embarrassment

Continuing my unintentional backwards trip through Resident Evil, after playing 8, then 7, then 4 Remake, I started Resident Evil 3 Remake last night. And yes, I will be going to RE2 afterwards.

This was all completely unintentional, but based on where my interests lay at the time.

Reminder that there are great free apps that easily transfer your playlists from Spotify to other companies to make it super easy.
Spotify is garbage on every count: Its treatment of artists, its ICE advertising, the CEO's investment in military AI, its leading role in the commodification and AI slopification of music, its terrible audio quality—you name it.

So I quit, and put together a complete guide to getting off Spotify:

"Apple Music pays more than double per stream" ok so there's like 0 reason to give Spotify money if you useany other Apple services.

This is another good one.

Essentially, many of your manga and JRPG tropes are based on the JP language D&D translation. Pig headed orcs, elves with super long ears, dog like kobolds, etc.
This reminds me of a fascinating video about how the Japanese edition of D&D inspired modern interpretations of role playing fantasy in japan manga, anime, and RPGs. I had no idea Record of Lodoss War is technically a D&D story at its core. I’ll have to find it.

Let’s reject our citizenships and move to an island nation that resides on the back of a turtle.

Less realistically, one with universal health care and a livable minimum wage.
