Just a reminder since it's garden-planning season for those in the northern hemisphere, that Permapeople has a free and non-commercial garden planner.

First time growing Echinacea. Plant actually started last year but a bit too late in the season. This year it came back strong after the rain came back.

The spring was quite good with rain but rather cold. Now again it didn’t rain for a while and I hope it is not the next summer which is super dry. Until now I resisted to water the potato and onions but probably will give in soon

I think we got it all wrong. After working a few weekends on larger scale plantings (40 potatoes, 244 onions, some garlic) I firmly believe that if everyone becomes a farmer, they use so much more calories than they do on their desks now and we can never offset that 😅
