Lover of gardens, and I know much of the hopes and dreams of mankind, elven folk, and fey.

Music. Mountains. MST3K jokes. Kindness.
USS Enterprise 1701. Clever engineering.
Captain, we have helm!

Sometimes I wish I had the audacity and self-confidence of a middle-aged white man in America.

The uniform code of military justice could allow for someone retired to be recalled, but it would be virtually impossible with US Senator Mark Kelly.

1. He's a fully retired O-6. He is not in any reserve.
2. He's a member of the federal legislative branch and military reports to executive.

The news is not there to educate you.

Reporters report. Writers write. Editors edit.

They balance information with narrative to make things sensational but not convoluted and overwhelming. News media it's predicated on you, the consumer, knowing things.

Ex.Sports and business media don't educate.

I don't know why I find myself aggrieved at file folders with sticker labels on them.

I think it can be a litmus test for certain personality traits. Both using stickers and finding it wrong.

"Oh you're just putting stickers on random folders? Sorry, I didn't come from money."

Hutber's Law states improvement means deterioration. This concept suggests many possible improvements in technology, services, and process often lead to worse outcomes, rather than genuine progress.

Change for change's sake doesn't always equal real improvement.

ARE YOU WORKING BIG CHANGE?

Oh fuck off anyone who says the ACA should be shorted because "you can't trust the government to take care you."

Well we can't trust the market. So which one do we have any ultimate say in?

If someone starts a statement by identifying their politics, they're about to tell you something you don't like.

My thoughts are through the lens of Xenniel who is a recipient of White Settler Colonialism. I agree with what he's saying. It's the standard playbook of "conservative" talking heads in this epoch to prey on children and young adult fears by dressing in some kind of cultish redemption story.
I have concerns.

The Kafka Trap means you’re not on trial for a crime. You're on trial for being on trial; and by proclaiming your innocence you are guilty of being on trial.

The original theme was rather brilliant and haunting then, and it is now.
Original titles to "Doctor Who" (first transmitted 23/11/63).

Theme music composed by Ron Grainer; arranged by Delia Derbyshire and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. #DoctorWho #scifi

It's like patriarchy won't let you be in a room with another person unless you know whether or not you would fuck them.

It's amazing that how, even knowing I'm autistic, people who were my friends shun me for being autistic.

They won't admit it. They never admit it.
