Minor pretends to be adult. Lies and gets other person to pretend they’re married. Grooms younger minors. Threatens victims for years into adulthood to stay quiet and not talk about it. Victims try to have something done and are repeatedly downplayed and ignored.

Any time a major callout happens there’s always people who refuse to read and instead just believe the first thing they see or make assumptions, those who resort to direct harassment, and others who can’t take it seriously or make tone deaf “in-character” posts. All of it sucks.

i can’t keep doing this. i can’t keep wondering when the next person i trust is going to outed as a horrible person or if people will eventually think that im one too. the past 2 years have just been getting harder and harder and i don’t want to struggle like this anymore. im not happy.

i think i speak for most of folks in the UTDR space when i say today was tough. it's going to be harder to finish the rest of the year.
don't forget, today lots of us decided to stand with victims and we let them be heard. because of our support, it will be easier for folks to come forward.

a director's job is not only to create their own ideas, but also to manage the ideas of every team member around them! it's called the collaborative process of making a work of art as a team! always remember that.
Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."
