Lately, I've been juggling a lot, between life getting in the way, some personal projects, and preparing for the German C1 exam I need for university. The development of @beavernotes.com is still ongoing, just at a slower pace. I hope we can ship the next update as soon as possible!

This week, we finalized the storage rewrite in Beaver Pocket. We also added custom app icons and themed icons for Android. We also improved how your password is handled when locking a note.
Next week’s goal is to implement folders in Beaver Pocket and apply the finishing touches to Beaver Notes.

We’ve done a lot this week, and it’s only Tuesday! A fix for Android sync is rolling out tomorrow, and we fixed a bug in Beaver Notes sync. Folders and a column layout options are coming in the next update. We’re always open to contributors and feedback!

We’re rolling out a new beta of Beaver Pocket, available shortly on TestFlight. We're also looking for testers for the closed beta on Android. If you're interested, email us at [email protected]. If you don’t make it into the first batch of testers, open testing will begin in about two weeks.

I come with good news! We’ve forked the repo and managed to get everything working. The app is now under review in the Play Console and App Store Connect, and it will soon be available for testers on the Play Store and TestFlight.

Quick update, the Android closed beta is currently under review. On the downside, the Google Drive plugin we were using has been discontinued. The new one isn’t a good fit, so we’re planning to fork the old version and update it. We’ll keep you posted as we make progress.

Beaver Notes 4.1.0 is out now with some minor fixes and improvements, a brand new drawing block, and support for sharing in Markdown and HTML. We're still sorting out GitHub Actions for Android and iOS, but the beta should be back up in a couple of days!

Beaver’s cloud sync is improving! The new logic has been implemented in Beaver Notes and is being brought to Pocket. One of the five supported services has already been rewritten, with more improvements on the way. We're working tirelessly to make Beaver smoother and more reliable for everyone!
