I get that! We mostly use gift bags and reuse them til they wear out. I don't think Santa does many gift bags tho 😅

Can I set this point aside & talk about gatekeeping? Because a lot of old techniques (from producing particular paints to how a fibre was processed) are now unknown to us .. because the ppl who knew did not want to share knowledge.

The ideal artistic life for me would be just making stuff and no one even knows my name or what I look like and I'm not remotely famous and still can make a living. But that doesn't exist anymore. Not sure people realise how hard it's been recently for artists to survive, or how deeply appreciated every single order is. If you can't buy something, it makes a huge difference just to share our work. If you can't share our work, a little sacrifice to the Old Gods on our behalf means a lot, too 💜
