Spatchcocked turkey, dry brined, cooked to internal temp of 145° plus 14 minutes (thanks @justicar.xyz). Perfectly done. Everything was delicious and I timed it all perfectly. Now I get to lay on the couch while everybody else cleans up. Happy Thanksgiving friends!

I made that braised butter mashed potato recipe today, it's in the fridge now waiting to be reheated and refluffed for tomorrow's feed. Gotta say, it is mighty tasty.

Sky friends, I think I may have pulled something when I spatchcocked the turkey last night. I know I felt something pop and now the bottom of my ribs hurt when I bend over. I have a spatchcock injury. Be careful out there, Thanksgiving prep is no joke.

Our incoming flight to Orlando is delayed and flightaware said it's been taxiing for takeoff for 1 hour and 18 minutes. I don't think that's true? Or was somebody caught wearing pajamas and they have to go back for them to change?
