Checking compatibility. #GBBoy Seal of Approval earned. Even though their clocks run fast the game stays in sync due to how it uses the 4 Player adapter.

Q: Is that older GBBoy Colour with a very scratched screen actually a color console?
A: No! They just changed light grey to red!

Having a stack of cheap 32K carts comes in handy sometimes, I recommend it.

The closeout 32-64k ferrante carts are still for sale on ebay for $5.50-6.50. 😉 (if you have a gbxcart flasher)

Someone should make a 4-Player game small enough to copy to and run from WRAM, then you could just hot-un-plug with a single cart to get all the consoles going.

This game might be small enough without the title screen graphics, but the C code isn't easily relocatable.

Shonumi's research was very helpful in making this game.

This project required some further research into the Four Player Adapter (DMG-07) beyond Shonumi's, the findings have been merged into the pandocs page for it and are helping to improve emulator support already.

My IPS mod for the #MegaDuck Super Junior Computer finally got a frame to hold the GBP Q5 display.
It also locks against the adapter PCB and creates a good tight fit ^^

Now I need to find a nice way to access the OSD without the capacitive-pads (inconvenient)

Once the game is out I'll try to make a TTF and release it as free/public domain.

I hope my usb ibuffalo snes pad makes it that long. It's halfway there and has held up well. It's pretty much perfect use wise.

The D-Pad on my 8bitdo M30 is already creaking after just a few years.

Looks like cc1 is bundled into GBStudio and there isn't a way to swap it out.

That's too bad since changing it might be a good way to determine if it was just cc1 causing the problems and if an older version (from an earlier gbdk) would fix the issue.

Great points and a good resource!

Most of this matches what we've seen/use in the gbcompo jams too. Including the number of dubious APKs that show up with total disregard for rules. Our list rules has gotten so long though.
