When the squad is so thicknormous you have to make a new format

It used to be manual, so you didn't actually have a real-life comparison. Most people didn't get thumbnail A/B testing in June 2024 and I just got title A/B testing this week
battleorder.org
Unless a video is a banger right out of the gate a lot of Youtubers do A/B tests to see what people are more likely to watch through. It used to be more guesswork before we got A/B tools. Titles/thumbnails are like 1% of the work in making the video but responsible for like 50%+ of the performance

However, the 4 videos with Spanish both translated audio and on-screen text will remain available: www.youtube.com/@OrdenDeBata...

I can't easily those videos (except for the Ranger one) as main channel dubs because I made edits in the process of dubbing and the videos are different lengths

I found more than one channel to be too much to manage by myself because I was translating all the on-screen text to Spanish. With MLA it's just translating the audio, titles and subtitles but it's better than nothing or the inaccurate AI dubbing
The Spanish language channel Orden de Batalla

I finally have proper multi-language audio capability (not the crappy AI dubbing) so going forward I may do Spanish dubbing on the main channel. Because of the cost it'll be limited to videos in certain topic areas. Could expand to other languages like French if it's affordable

The legacy of the Green Jackets trace back to the Napoleonic Wars, in which these riflemen gained recognition for their distinctive uniforms and expert marksmanship. Today, their role in the British Army is defined by a preference for fighting in rugged terrain and cities.

He rage baited me by not grasping the task organization
Some guy’s comment: lol "integration". They just attached a colored company to a white battalion. The interaction would've been minimal and simply taking questions in regards to how they performed in combat and trying to push it as some transcending moment beyond bigotry is a joke. If you want actual views and opinions you should look at Korea and Vietnam where units were truly integrated if you want an actual take. My response: 1. The only case where companies were attached to battalions and not platoons attached to companies was mentioned in the last 30 seconds of the video. That part was verbally demarcated as not related to the survey, so either you didn't pay attention or did not understand what was being talked about. In the Infantry Divisions colored platoons were integrated into white companies, close enough integration for squads to be swapped between the white and black platoons to equalize manpower in some cases
2. The video pretty clearly bounded the topic to this event, which showed white NCOs and officers who served in the same 24 companies as black soldiers almost entirely changing their minds about them towards the positive. If you want to make a video about every other instance where black and white soldiers didn't get along no one is stopping you
3. The questions asked and answers given were not limited to their combat record, but how they got on with others in the company socially as well (because they were integrated closely enough to go to company events and socialize).
They were largely positive

www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Xqp... During the last months of the War in Europe, the U.S. Army gave 11 divisions platoons of Black soldiers. After they interviewed white officers and NCOs in 7 of those divisions across 24 rifle companies. The results were pretty significant.

Some additional information about this particular task force I was given this morning
Someone who was on this rotation in the Coy HQ sent me some additional information that wasn't captured in the original eFP Latvia 22-02 organigramme:
2:18 - During this rotation, the Company 2IC along with the Transport Sergeant (who was given his own LAV for this rotation) accompanied the A1 Echelon for security during resupply operations.
3:17 - In the task organization, one platoon was focused on defensive operations and given the TOWs and AGLs. Another platoon was focused more on reconnaissance with the recce and optical kit, and the third platoon was detached to the Polish tank company as mentioned at 3:25 . It is noted that due to the unorthodox nature of a multinational unit this small the detached Canadian rifle platoon would still go to the Canadian resupply point while the Polish tank platoon would go to Poland's resupply point.
5:14 - The Transport Sergeant on this rotation was given his own LAV 6. In addition to the 16 LAVs used by the platoons, Company HQ and Fast Pack they brought 2 spares to fill in if one of those went down, so they had a free LAV to draw for them.
5:38 - For this specific rotation they did not use the MSVS SEV they had because it wasn't needed
