Bicycles.

Punk rock didn't save the world, but it should have.

I try to stay on topic, but you're going to get random posts about housing, gardening, preserving/canning, dogs, and baseball.

Look, all I want is for everyone to make 25% of the 50% of trips that are less than 3 miles by something other than car.

I know people don't like word problems, but just take your bike once in awhile.
Here are some riders crossing the Cahuenga Pass, which the 101 passes through, in 1897.

When someone says you need a gravel bike, remember "All bikes are gravel bikes."

A beautiful little throw away from Ray Davies, released today in 1981. It's probably the sweetest break-up song of all time.

Walmart, or at least their chief people officer, says that work-life balance isn't realistic. Mike needs to STFU.
Rumor is even GOP House members are sick of being treated like potted plants, with many more threatening early departure.

The Donald will also be having the "New Colossus" removed from the Statue of Liberty.
In case you thought you were safe bc you aren't one of his currently identified enemies to kidnap and deport, take a look at this line:

"and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country..."

No one is safe when a bully is in charge.

And while we have a border collie, I laugh whenever they say they aren't for everyone. Live with a PBGV and you'll learn what challenging means.

Pet peeve. Tires on 700c rims are measured in mm, not "c"s.

It's a 32mm tire on a 700c rim, not a 32c tire.

(Oh, and all metal frames are alloy. Stop calling your aluminum frame an alloy bike.)

You should have to pass a class to have a dog.

And no dog should ever spend 100% of its life outside. If it's not going to be inside with you, you shouldn't have it.
