This week's #PostItNoteArt #ArtChallenge prompt is "butterfly."

This is based on true events (albeit with a great deal of exaggeration).
A woman and a man stand talking to each other, with the man looking at his sister with a shocked expression. "What? Do I have something on my face?" the woman asks. On top of her hair is a giant butterfly, specifically a Danaid Eggfly (Hypolimnas misippus). The butterfly is coloured with a monochrome marker.

This week's #PostItNoteArt #ArtChallenge prompt is "villainous scene."

I learned recently that between D&D, Pathfinder, and Daggerheart, all three of them have playable frog people. I'd like to imagine that one villain players could face is an evil frog person who is not really a person at all.
An Anuron (frog person) Simulacrum, hood up and holding a fire staff, set a village on fire. There is a cottage behind him with flames erupting from the window and thatched roof. There is also a tree burning behind the Simulacrum. The villain stares at the viewer, eyelids furrowed as if he's ready to attack you for getting in his way.

I also decided to make it a #VicInVictoria comic this week; I've been annoyed with YouTube's oversaturation of ads; they even have ads that play in the middle of livestreams now if you would believe it!

With the exception of the bottom left sign, all signs are actual lyrics from Muse's album Drones.

I didn't particularly like that album.
A few people hold protest signs, four of which contain lyrics from Muse's album Drones. Top left: "Fucking psycho, YOUR ASS BELONGS TO ME!" Top right: "You've got reapers and hawks, babe NOW I'M RADICALIZED", where "radicalized" stops at "radic" on the sign and "alized" written on a board extending from the sign. This week's #PostItNoteArt #ArtChallenge prompt is "treasure map."

Yeah, things are happening in my life that's making me contemplate where I have been and where I'm even going.
A treasure map that describes a typical path through a human life that follows a path: 1) From birth, there is a twist and a turn to childhood. 2) From childhood, it leads to adolescence. 3) The path to the teen years twists and turns in an almost directionless motion before it branches off into two directions toward adulthood. 4)Adulthood has several branching paths, some longer than others. They all lead to an area where treasure might be. 5) After treasure, it is a straight path to death. Of note is that "Treasure" with a question mark is located at the bottom right corner of the map, which is torn off. It is unknown whether or not anyone can find their way to treasure or if they could recognize it when they encounter it.

This week's #PostItNoteArt #ArtChallenge prompt is to draw a scene from my last D&D session, where my character Elzinar (Drow Artificer) finds a kindred spirit in Blek, a Kobald Rogue, who also escaped from underground. Finch, an Elf Ranger, is flustered by Elzinar's surface-world faux-pas.
Elzinar (Drow Artificer in goggles), books Blek (Kobald Rogue) on the snout. "Oh! You're a Kobold!" Elzinar says. In the background, Finch (Elf Ranger) raises her arms and screams in secondhand embarrassment. She yells, "Elzinar! It's racist to call people by their race!" Blek doesn't mind, though; he has a slight curve to his mouth, implying a smile.

This week's #PostItNoteArt #ArtChallenge prompt is to draw my lunch.

I made an egg and ham sandwich, which turned out deliciously, but I might have to adjust the settings to my air fryer to get the egg yolk hard. That, and I forgot to add the mayonnaise.
A sketch of my lunch drawin in ink. Go to the next picture to find out what the sandwich itself looks like. A ham sandwich with cheese and egg on top, though the egg is hard to see due to the cheese being marble cheddar and the yolk being runny and covering the plate it's served on. The cheese is especially melty, filling in the gap that was made from cutting the sandwich in half as directed by the recipe. The ham is not visible as it is right in the middle of the bread and layered between two slices of Monterey Jack cheese.

I've been dying to draw a "Vic in Victoria" comic for a long while.
Panel 1 - Vic (center with mohawk), Charlene (Right), and Dave (Left, with long hair) eat something at a dining table with glee. Vic: This ice cream is great! What brand is it? Panel 2 - Charlene picks up the carton and reads the label. Charlene: Broya's Frozen Dessert. Made with ingredients legally distinct from ice cream. Both Vic and Dave are shocked at the revelation. Panel 3 - Vic spits out the frozen dessert in his mouth in disgust and Charlene walks away from the table. Dave, in a fit of rage stands up from the table, hands in the air. Dave: THIS FLAVOUR IS THE TASTE OF BULL$#!%!

For context, I found a set of felt tip pens with various widths; what better way is there to play around with depth than to use different thicknesses and line weights?

Both words are the words of the day from dictionary.com and the Oxford English Dictionary website respectively.
A creature, with an extra set of arms poking out from behind its reptilian ears and cat-like eyes, bears its teeth toward someone off screen, nose scrunched like a dog's would. A human arm gently touches the creatures nose, letting out a small "Boop!" sound. The creature has a question mark over its head, clearly confused as to why the human is not afraid of it.

Yeah, I'm excited to watch Final Destination: Bloodlines tomorrow. Read the Alt text on the image if you want to learn more about my own near Final Destination moment.
When I was living in a small village in the West Kootenays, my mother, brother, and I would have to travel out to an Okanagan city once a month to get groceries (local shops charged too much for groceries). In order to get to the Okanagan, we would have to drive through the Monashee Mountains, a winding road that even as an adult makes me car sick. One winter, we were making our way to the Okanagan city for a grocery. While driving around one of the winding bends early on in that drive, a logging truck came around the corner from the other way. Due to the icy road conditions, the back end with the logs swerved into our lane, nearly hitting us. Of course, we didn't die. It was still a horrifying moment that, to this day, is ingrained in my memory. As I write this Alt text, I have to wonder if the driver of that logging truck felt as scared as we were at the idea that he could have accidentally taken our lives. Maybe he was scared of falling down the side of the mountain, given how low and flimsy all the side guards were throughout the mountain pass.

Today, I was going to draw something for May Day or Star Wars Day, but then I found out that Canada Post sent my anniversary gift, to my brother and sister-in-law, to Winnipeg for some reason.

We all live in BC. FML.
A Canada Post delivery van is driving on the road. The driver, for some unknown reason, yells out "That's it, OFF TO WINNIPEG!" This is in reference to a joke from The Simpsons.

What if Mazes & Monsters was about a group of friends in a fantasy setting who played a TTRPG about running a corporation taking place in our world, and the "Accountant" had a mental break about flying to New York by airplane?

This sketch is in reference to a scene in Mazes & Monsters, a made-for-TV movie based on a book of the same title by Rona Jaffe, both of which are infamously bad exploitation works based on the Satanic Panic surrounding D&D in the 1980's and 1990's. It was Tom Hanks' first leading role before he went on to make bigger and better movies.

I honestly didn't expect Raidou Kuzunoha or Tomodachi Life to come back to life, but I'm pleasantly surprised!

Especially the former; that isn't a remaster, but a full-blown remake! I'm guessing it was remade from the ground up using Unreal like Persona 3 Reload.

A sketch on a post-it note, presumably taking place at MacArthur Park, which is melting in the dark. All the sweet green icing on a cake is flowing down because someone left it out in the rain. The guy who baked the cake cries out "No! My masterpiece is ruined!" He probably can't take it because it took so long to bake it, and sadly he will never have that recipe again. Oh no!
