It's been a bit of a week, so I haven't posted anything for #DLDday. But go and see what my amazing research team have been doing over at @edldproject.bsky.social and @sounds-project.bsky.social! We had a bake sale for @radld.bsky.social on Tuesday and made £82. Will aim for £100+ in 2026!
I’ve recently started a YouTube channel and hope to share some clinically useful videos, focused on Speech Sound Disorders and CAS.
My first video is a walkthrough of the DEAP, how to use the summary screen and the various subtests. Please share!

Help spread the word about developmental language disorder, a common yet often hidden condition that makes it hard for children to understand what's said to them & to articulate thoughts & feelings. Lots of helpful resources & information at radld.org.

If a person is multilingual, and has #DevLangDis, all their languages will be affected. Take a look at @radld.bsky.social’s fact sheets about DLD written in many languages! radld.org/about/dld/dl... #DLDday
#mysltday @armstrongslt.bsky.social and I ran the SLT stand at @keeleuniversity.bsky.social for #AHPsDay. Lots of questions about the various client groups SLTs are involved in - did you know we work in youth justice, with neonates and clients with swallowing difficulties?

Fantastic #AHPsDay. Recorded videos with a colleague for upcoming dysphagia simulations. Manned the speech and language therapy table with @bammo44.bsky.social at university, and spoke to lots of students and other staff about the profession. #mySLTday #bskySPEECHIES

Really useful thread here from @vanigupta.bsky.social about adolescent language. Worth a read. Vani is at #ialp2025, posting live, so give her a follow for more content about Developmental Language Disorder #DevLangDis
#IALP2025 7 suggestions for progress:
1. Use backward design - the end in mind: look at adulthood demands and derive research questions, PD activities and service goals
Definitely! That would be amazing 🤩
Senco’s, teachers and teaching assistants (it would be really enough for the TA qualification) across the key stages.

I meant 5 years old but definitely could have been interpreted as that 😂
We had them neutered / spayed as soon as we could - 2 is enough!
She definitely was - they are gorgeous 🥰
When she was 11, our daughter sat us down and told us to watch a full presentation she had made with PowerPoint slides on how she should have 2 rabbits. They are 5 now… 😂
