I dont think its being a dick to recognize that not every space is designed for children. They have needs and impulses that arent super suited for sitting still for hours on end. I would never go into children's spaces and expect anything less than childlike behavior.
Or we let kids learn manners and mores in kids spaces before putting them in an enclosed metal tube for 2-12 hours. There are spaces for kids to be kids and learn social skills.
