exactly!! like you said, it’s okay to not participate in certain practices, but to be ashamed & try to depict yourself as “other” is insane to me. I would never sit here & wish hurricane levels of destruction on anyone, especially not my brothers & sisters in the caribbean!

but when any other island in the caribbean experiences natural disasters, they’re just innocent people who don’t deserve this??
