Starbucks is also where you go if you’re just passing through or new somewhere, because it’s pretty consistent and fast and you know what to expect

The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.

They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.

They’re refusing.

Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

Starvation as a policy choice.

Women have had big jobs in advertising since at least the 50s. The pop pop fizz fizz campaign was done by a team led by a woman if I’m not mistaken

Ad agencies deliberately hired women because in middle class families women did most of the shopping. Especially from schools like Bryn Mawr
