Over the weekend, my sweet cat companion of 15 years passed away. Hank was cuddle bug and a sass master and he'd been through the health ringer in his life. I am honored to have had him in my life for so long and I'll miss him every single day.

I keep seeing people say "oh no 4 more years" like it hasn't dawned on them that this is a fascist regime and they'll never really vote again let alone in 4 years and at this point that much lack of awareness is fucking wild to me.

I've been having a hard time deciding what art I'm gonna post initially and what will stay archived for this or that reason. I'll just go with what I've done that I still enjoy or haven't yet shared! Mostly XIV OCs!

The brightest upside is that a lot of what I thought was irreversible damage I'd done to the muscles and nerves in my drawing and hardly ever hurts me anymore. ✨
I thought the imposter syndrome of being me being paid to draw/storyboard was bad.
Now I'm me and I teach people how to exercise for physical rehab.
When I say I'm sweating bullets every day, I mean in every way.
....we love a living wage though.

I work in a physio rehab clinic now and boy has our our sweet staff therapist has been making their rounds to the staff today. Through the devastation, I feel lucky.

I was at an all time low for my mental health when I was laid off from my studio job last year and it really re-colored my view industry and how valued (or not) I felt w/ regards to art in general. 1/2
