A dramatic black and white photograph of a mountain town street leading toward towering peaks partially dusted with snow. Dark, textured storm clouds gather overhead, contrasting sharply with the bright mountains illuminated by sunlight breaking through the clouds. Buildings with balconies and windows line both sides of the street, creating a sense of depth that draws the viewer’s eye toward the distant landscape. Captured on Ilford SFX 200 film with a Voigtländer Perkeo II and 80mm f/3.5 Color-Skopar lens.
Hi there! Good to see you.

My only comment is that I just got back from a short trip and I took one camera and one lens. EOS-1n and a 35mm prime. When I can't decide what to do, the 1n is my workhorse. It just works. Reliably and well. Spare battery just in case if you go the EOS route. 🙂
Remember how they used to hype up the world premier of new videos like that for weeks or months on end? Thriller certainly delivered. OTOH, "Blue Jean" by David Bowie was.... OK.

And don't get me wrong, I like Bowie, but the hype train for that particular one was a bit much IMHO. 🙂

I can't wait to see what she does with all the Rush catalogue, but at the moment I have Subdivisions playing in my head. Good for her! That's awesome.
Is this on your property?! If so, never mind my comment about a hawk in my yard the other day. You "win"! 😆
Something about the height of it and the proportions and angles reminds me of an attack helicopter!

If a classic silver Leica with its rounded corners is like a classic era airplane (or Naboo spaceship), this is more like an Apache! With a big round autocannon on the front. 😜
Happy #caturday !

Looking forward to seeing them! I did that a few years ago at Edisto and loved it!
Read your recent article about the end of the ferry service from the US side. Sad situation. I'd love to see us keep those historical, cultural, and familial connections despite the current turbulence. I hope someone can buy it and get that boat running again!

This is now going to live rent-free in my head all day. Like an earworm.

Nothing one can do but surrender to it. No Weetabix in the house, but this is close enough... 🙂

Yep, I meant the packaging that I could still remember! 😉
