Even the kindest interpretation that she's trying to be a better person (lol) would still involve having evaded your blocks in order to satiate her own desire to apologize

ive lost the ability to tell whegher thsi looks good or not. HERE SHE IS
Thanks, I just found this random color palette online that was very appealing.
You're going to let Ed down like this? After all she's been through?
#ofmd She's annoying the hell out of people I'm sure.
Yeah. You guys were doing that according to a week?
ty i have no idea wtf i'm doing XD
#ofmd So, I've been trying to learn how to use Blender. 🔥🔥🔥
This convo runs close to starting fandom's 100,001st round of Ukefication Discourse & I have no expectation trends will change. Every time I've seen it happen someone just has to drop "heteronormative" into it and then the whole thing's a radiation zone, lol. Forget it, Jake, it's Fandomtown. BUT--
Like, no one ever mistake me here. I think Ed should get bent over and I think Stede is painfully relatable; this is shorthand for understanding where I fit in around the fandom, but neither of those things is the most important part of who they are as characters to me.
I got an essay about this in me, but in short I've been doing fandom for more than two decades and mainly what I've come to appreciate in that time is people who 1. are self-aware about it and 2. value the character(s) beyond just whether they're personally relatable.
This is a trend discussion I've had both privately and in a forum setting, and while I can't back this up with data, and any data I could get would be tainted by scope, self-awareness levels, shame, and contrarianism... yeah, lol. It's not the only thing going on but it's very blatantly a big factor
So, consumer section about your experiences/habits with fannish content, creator section about your experiences and how they inform your output, and then there's a meta element to explore about how fans interact with each other and sexual content.
I think coming up with a google form would be interesting, and I actually think there's a few different kinds of questions that can be asked from different angles. For instance, both as readers and as creators of content and then as someone in fandom simply interacting with other people in fandom.
ok so apparently other ppl also want to talk abt this also which is cool. considering NGL or google forms but my problem is the only q i actually have is “here’s my experience, anybody relate?” which probs won’t spark a lot of discussion. does anybody have any better questions lol
kinda want to talk to ppl abt how they interact w erotic/pornographic content in fandom & where/how/if that intersects w their actual sex/masturbation habits. but it’s not a convo i want to have in a public space & idk if any moots are comfortable being that tmi??
When people have tried this with me I've usually played dumb. "I don't really notice things like that; I'm thinking about dinner ^_^" and not participated. People like this want someone who feels the same to validate them, so just be a cheerful brick wall.
Heck yeah, honored as hell to see this again.
Another re-upload, this one from one of my all-time favourite fics, "But the Dream is Strong" by half_rearranged. (I can't seem to find them on here!)
This fic masterfully uses omegaverse to talk about gender, it's delightful, it's beautiful, it's very hot, and you should all go read it right now!
oh right i have bluesky too
I don't know how anyone's looking at this and going "Yeah, I want to stand with bigot for a tv show that even if it makes eleventy trillion dollars, the studio will still slash the budget of in the future so the quality dips and everyone hates it."
