Rabbi Eli Schlanger. Every news site reports praise of him as one who brought "light, joy and love". None mentions his support for Israel's #GazaGenocide (incl. signing a missile!) or him advocating ethnic cleansing of "Arabs" from "Israel's front porch" (the West Bank)! 😲 #BondiBeach #FreePalestine

A govt that cared about democracy wouldn’t:

- tighten FOI rules
- create barriers to elect independents
- tell lobbyists to use disappearing message platforms
- have foreign agents / envoys write policy
- ignore entitlement rorts
- renege on core election promises

If true, you'd have to agree it is a strange coincidence that Arsen Ostrovsky was a survivor of both the 7 October 2023 and 2025 Bondi beach attacks. What are the odds? Rather astronomical. Interesting.

Many progressives protest that they are not rich, despite being on a very good wicket. They always reel off their CV of working class roots New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics reveal just how much an average Australian earns. Being “rich” might not see you living like a Kardashian, but we need to acknowledge that earning more than 90% of people puts you in the top 10%, and that much of the tax system is geared to benefit you. Asking who is rich is a question that can send shivers down the spines of politicians.
