It's a real concern for future real elections. And it has to be studied and dealt with. You can't have a situation where high volume external sock puppets are causing real damage in domestic affairs. Ignoring this and having zero strategy will destroy this country like others

The story and success of this election is left unity, sticking to your values and being authentic (and keepy uppies of course).

I hope left parties learn from this because it has been inspiring to see what we can accomplish working together.

I need every journalist to point out that even if steen got the finger out and got on the ballot (she didn't), and even if all the spoiled votes would have gone to her (they wouldn't), she would have still come last

I really really hope that's true, because I'm an eejit that did it by accident. Don'tknow what happened, it's not like I haven't voted before. The guy at the station said the same as you, if it's the only mark it'll count as a preference but he might have just been trying to get rid of me.

The U.S. has conducted 10 strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats, killing 43 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.

Apropos the man threatening canvassers - there are more and more radicalised men wandering around Ireland these days, and the Irish state is not prepared for what is going to happen. Someone is going to get hurt.
