My name is Anthony Woodward, I’m an Australian comic artist who lives in Canada.

I love making non-fiction comics mostly ‘autofiction’ and more recently about UFOs.

I also like drawing robot junk heaps and a couple of years ago I made an all ages comic called Bored in Space.

Last month I made some dailies as a little experiment.

I’ve been quietly working on a little one panel per day exercise. It’s been an interesting way to make diary comics.

Saw this at the library the other day and it’s gorgeous! Hardcover coming in at 56 pages.

A graphic novel series from Quebec, Les Toudroyants was created by author Serge Cloutier and illustrator Christian Daigle. The books are part of the "Jeunesse" (Youth) collection from the publisher Les Éditions du Boréal.

French comics are great for this. I wish more comic book artists did a yearly 60-100 page hardcover ‘album’ in that style.

Here’s my explanation of Canadian Thanksgiving to fellow my Australians:

It’s Autumn’s mini-Christmas, but without the presents and decorations. Oh and pumpkin pie, which is an acquired taste that is occasionally nice.

I believe blending modes on grouped layers is on the Procreate roadmap. I’ve got my finger crossed for masks on grouped layers too 🤞

all i need now is for procreate to let me use blending modes and masks on folders instead of just individual layers and then i'd maybe switch over for everything tbh

Oh man the most recent procreate update has taken away the ability to do negative Kerning and negative Leading. Sounds like they’re working on a fix.

Hit up the local cheap theatre (.99c) to see The Fantastic Four and had a great time. I even got a chance to play some old Jurassic Park shooting game afterwards.
