The #Avs are losing 4-1 after the 1st.

The #Avs turned the puck over multiple times and the Canes made them pay for it. Wedgie never really got settled in. The sloppy team play didn't help the cause.

What a frustrating game to watch. The #Avs looked like they were going to cruise to a W. Momentum shifted when:

A Landy goal got disallowed with a make-believe offside call.

A phantom icing that led to a centre ice face-off and then a Mammoth goal.

A questionable disallowed goal on Landy and some bad d-zone play is a recipe for disaster.

The #Avs need to drive more plays to the net. It seems they have a lot of one and done situations. They can't shy away from physicality.

This game should be 2-0 for the #Avs with all the momentum. The Landy disallowed goal was garbage. Nowhere in the rulebook does it say anything about the opposing player's 'actions' lol.

The rule seems pretty clear. Nowhere does it say anything about the opposing player's action. These refs are pulling things out of thin air.

Agreed. The Mammoth like to muck things up though. If they run and gun with the #Avs, they'll get blown out. The boys have to find a way to grind it out.

Bardakov made an impressive play by creating space to set up the Makar goal. It was a sloppy period from both teams. Malinski was noticeably bad with his puck management.
