My Derwent Drawing pencils are finally here! Its been in limbo for so long😭I've been looking forward to trying these pencils and was willing to wait for the new colors to come to the US. But its suppose to be a Christmas present from my partner so I can't actually use them yet orz

I've spent my entire childhood drawing with a random store bought mechanical pencil, printer paper, leftover school notebooks, and crayola colored pencils. Once in awhile my parents would buy me Prismacolors and nice paper, but most of my learning was cheap stuff I could get at Walmart

The only thing annoying about working with pencils is that when I'm done and want to go to the next page in my sketchbook I have to take my sketchbook outside and spray it with a fixative so the pigment don't transfer.
It halts my process and makes me feel like an annoying neighbor with the smell
