hey! you have no idea how much i rly appreciate the coverage, thx to the attention it got i got to work on bigger projects with amazing people which are opputunities i cherish & would not have gotten otherwise

its just sad to see how different it is now and how that hurts both writers and devs

i used to love seeing and reading about all kinds of video games. it was the main reason i used social media and existed online at all. its genuinely depressing to think about how much of that experience is just gone now and how many developers suffer in trying to get their projects seen by anyone

its kind of wild that Morph Girl got articles on PC Gamer and Kotaku back in 2017 given the dire state of games media now

its literally a student project of amateur acting, iphone footage and barebones VN software. it was a very different time and far more deserving games see so little coverage now

1. The gaming press has been decimated by business suits, and the whims of an uncaring search engine behemoth
2. Doing the job means you get death threats and harassment
3. There are more games released in 1 week than there were in entire months in 2015
