What I love about Halsin is that he feels so DEEPLY. He has giant muscles but his biceps are nothing compared to the size of his heart. He loves deeply, cares deeply, has so much kindness and compassion in his giant heart!!!

I just remind myself that the people who say this aren't going to read my fics anyway. (In fact, most with this attitude rarely comment at all! Their attitude is authors should be grateful to get a view at all, let alone a kudos, and comments are for only the cream of the crop.)

Where we "went wrong" is that billionaires spent unimaginably large sums to attack us repeatedly and major media outlets have spent a decade piling on.

Yeah, like sorting by kudos is fine when you're new to the fandom/pairing. I think what annoys people is the ones who refuse to read low-kudos fics at all, the ones who say authors replying to their commenters to thank them is "inflating their comment count to trick readers", etc

No actual evidence is presented with this assertion. The piece is 100% "this is happening" with no attempt to document that it is actually happening. But were I to write such an empty piece and made up a reason, as the Hill does, I'd say it has something to do with the GOP being the party of rape.

Sadly the current right-wing coalition government in Finland has cut the funding for the nation’s “Housing First” success story, & homelessness is now on the rise again. That just reinforces the fact that such programs work, if political ideology doesn’t stand in the way.

Then, oh, look: a shell detonated prematurely. Good thing Newsom had shut down 17 miles of freeway (used by 80,000 Californians daily).
