When people/songs say “Jesus was born in a manger” I giggle because i just don’t picture Mary climbing into the manger to deliver. *Born* in a stable, *lain* in a manger. Also, i might’ve conjugated “lie/lay” wrong don’t bite me.

You know what’s cool? The Ring has no specific gender markers. Like, yeah, Sauron is a dude and it’s an extension of him. But it could easily be his feminine side. The literary analyst in me really appreciates that. #lotr

Genuine question for the #Tolkien experts out there. (At least in the movie,) Treebeard recognizes the Palantir right away, first, from a pretty good distance away (up.) At what point in Middle Earth’s history did the Ents have a Palantir? And why?? #lotr
