Yeah, once Claremont left with issue #10, Wolverine’s solo book is a lot closer to the 90s era “series of miniseries” approach to Venom than an actual ongoing until Hama arrives.

It's a six part story where Wolverine ends up in a South American country where the dictator and an old Nazi in a exoskeleton are manufacturing cocaine imbued with essence of an ancient Deviant named Spore. It's wild!
