In October 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

Above the scene on the left is the sun, still bright in the late afternoon, but on its way to sunset. Its light shines between the Aspen tree trunks in the foreground, creating a starburst pattern around the sun itself and casting a few sunspots on the camera's lens.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from Westerbork in August 1943. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.
