It might be a tourist magnet but there is something about Poechenellerkelder that I really like - the puppets hanging there like memories of fairy tales read in childhood and a pretty solid beer list though it was too early in the day to start on the Christmas beers, maybe tomorrow before I leave

Now that Rogue has apparently shed its mortal coil, I have to do another brewery obit. (Ugh!) Given Rogue’s reputation today, one may imagine its legacy is merely surviving. In fact, it was a hugely influential brewer, and at one time its beers were considered groundbreaking.
