This week in Yerevan, the CBD Secretariat took part in a briefing for diplomatic missions that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia convened. This included a reflection on what constitutes success at #COP17Armenia and how to make it happen through multilateral cooperation.

Armenia is walking the talk on synergy in the implementation of UNFCCC and CBD.

Today in Yerevan, with United Nations in Armenia's support, the country held a joint launch event of its National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

At #IUCNcongress, @unbiodiversity.bsky.social presented the global network of 18 Technical Support Centres identified by the Parties to the CBD.

They underpin the #KMGBF implementation through decentralized, demand-driven and inclusive collaboration tailored to their respective regions.

At the GEF's high-level event on the Global Biodiversity Framework Fund #GBFF, the #IUCNcongress heard a resounding call to action: investing in the #KMGBF implementation now constitutes the world's best strategy to hedge against the unthinkable cost of run-away biodiversity loss.
