Not really. I mean Jack was actually enjoyable to listen too and Roland's death had meaning. Unlike Maya's death which was caused because the brat known as Ava didn't want to just listen and got her killed then played the annoying ass "you're mean and I'm the victim" the whole rest of the game.

Based on the story I would have to say borderlands 3. It sucked sooo much the writing was all cringe outdated humor, forced laughs and NPC explaining said jokes or context to you like you're a clueless idiot. The twins were just annoying and killing off a beloved character was just bad
