Does anybody else suffer a pang of guilt when buying low cost items online?

I just bought a 12rmb HDMI cable from JD with next day delivery and me pressing buy has definitely caused a chain of misery to happen somewhere

Decided to not do both and suffer the consequences. Such is life.
Current options: team building or avoid it by going on a biz trip to Saudi Arabia.

I mean there's bad choices and also bad choices

I was a one pedal skeptic until recently; now I like it - have it cranked up to maximum even
We tend to say that "true" one-pedal driving means the EV comes to a complete stop on its own without a brake pedal, but that's not always the case. Anyway, once you try it, it's hard to want to go back (most of the time.)

Interesting conversation point: the Chinese govt has never mandated an ICE ban but has used carrot and stick policies to encourage EV/PHEV adoption.

Is the EU govt too much stick ?

Still think its crazy that the UK left the worlds largest economic trade bloc because some folks thought they could do a better job of creating global trade deals.
Without rejoining the EU we will become poorer and poorer. Many of the things we have taken for granted will simply vanish. How bad will it have to get before people say enough is enough, and stop voting for parties that aren’t committed to rejoining the EU?

LinkedIn full of mongos discussing the Jaguar issue again (97% sales collapse etc etc), designer fired etc etc.

Jaguar needed to do something radical, it did it, and people are still talking about it 12 months later.

That’s a win

Chinese name is Wan Ke but changed to Vanke in English; I feel this is a great shame.
Shenzhen-based Vanke, once the nation’s largest builder by sales, told creditors that it was seeking a one-year delay to pay the 2 billion yuan ($283 million) note originally due on Dec. 15 along with interest, people familiar with the matter said www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Mad that this car is like 20 years old and still looks fresh
Finally got around to taking some nice photos of the rental MX-5. I've not even taken any of my *own* MX-5 like this. (Nor have I driven my own car on any roads as good as the one I found today 🤷‍♂️)
