SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

I haven't shared this one in a while and it crossed my mind that I should. It's the second time I asked @strype.bsky.social to put me in sci fi armor. The first was barely armor (a sketch from a con a looong time ago), the third is the synth sapper I've shared before. Power armor, big gun, yay!

Iridium in a heavy suit of power armor. There may be design influences from WH40k, Battletech, Mass Effect, and elsewhere. Over the right shoulder is a missile/rocket launcher. In her right hand, with an overhand grip, is a large rotary cannon of some sort. Her left hand is in an oversized gauntlet with knuckle spikes. There are hints of a city behind her in the smoke. Also behind her is an IFV of some sort.

He drove his car so “recklessly,” Jentleson said, that staff refused to ride with him. He had also bought a gun. “He says he has a biometric safe and takes all the necessary precautions, and living where he does I understand the desire for personal protection,” Jentleson wrote, referring to Fetterman’s rough-and-tumble town of Braddock, Pennsylvania. “But this is one of the things you said to flag, so I am flagging.”
