It's a grift i've seen many times. Nearly 2 decades ago, it happened to the first site I wrote for (and even had a short stint as EIC at). But with Videogamer it really hurts. That site had such a unique voice and fostered talent like no other.

Nah, if you give your GF enough stuff and not the cheap shit, it can absolutely make a difference. But actively involving your GF in your battles really doesn't pay off after some time. Always takes ages until your GF is ready and for what? For a 60s song and dance that needs all the attention?

You should do community work based on the number of STEM degrees. 1 year per bachelor, 2 for a master. Double that if it's in law. Tripple if in finance
