Keep it, take it to your next Pride event, and stick it to a fence or a wall or something with a note that says "Free to someone who needs it".

Has your state or city ever had a ceremonial proclamation recognizing Ace Week? Now's the time to look into making it happen! Many locations have deadlines of 30-45 days ahead of the event.

Discover when aces began identifying with their sexual identity in our plot below!

This is part of our 2022 survey report. Find the full report and translations in our bio.

#asexual #asexuality #ace #acecommunitysurvey #demisexual #demisexuality #graysexual #graysexuality
White letters that say "First identification with sexual identity" over a purple background and the logo of the Ace Community Survey Team (four squares colored with the asexual flag colors. The last one has a white tick over it). Violin plot titled “Age when…”

At the time of the survey, the median age of ace respondents was 23 years old. The median age of first identifying with their sexual identity was 18 years old for ace respondents. The median age when ace respondents indicated that they first participated in an asexual community was 19 years old. In general, while some ace respondents began identifying with their sexual identity in early adolescence, the majority were in their late teens. A smaller number of aces also participated in an asexual community in their early teens; however, many of them began doing so in their late teens or early twenties.

Aros and Aces of Bluesky! Show us what you did for Pride Month! Did you march in a parade? Make crafts? Hang your asexual or aromantic flags for the world to see? Share pics here!

This year, we're also sharing a space with the Seattle Pan Bi Alliance: The All or Nothing Lounge!
A sign that reads "The All or Nothing Lounge". The words "All" and "Nothing" are in the logo styles of the Seattle Pan Bi Alliance and the Seattle Aces & Aros.

One last time, in the hope that this finds the right person:
My very large intersex flag disappeared at the No Kings Rally in Seattle, and I'd like it back. If you know where it's gone, please bring it to the Seattle Aces & Aros booth at Cap Hill PrideFest if you can!

Hey Seattle, have you seen this flag? It wandered off at the No Kings rally and hasn't come home yet. I'm starting to get worried.

Getting some decorations ready for the Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday. Will you be there with us?
A push cart decorated with small flags, including asexual, aromantic, demisexual, demiromantic, gray-asexual, and grayromantic. Other flags sit in a jumble on top, including aroace, aegosexual, aceflux, and aroflux, among others that cannot be clearly seen.

Had a lovely time at World Pride in DC two weeks ago with the Aces & Aros of the Mid-Atlantic group. There was a conference Fri where I got to meet UK asexual advocate Yasmin Benoit. Sat & Sun were spent with the parade, a concert, and the street festival.

Yeah, I've used an umbrella at Pride to keep the sun away more than I've used one to keep the rain away.
And last year in Portland, I used one to keep both the sun and rain away *at the same time*. Downpour thunderstorm and sideways sun on a 95-100F day.

As a gay ace, I love that the uni college where I’m living flies the #asexuality flag for #PrideMonth. We’ve had numerous calm weather days recently, so was hard to get a photo. I captured this one, flying to the left and not right. It’s not straight. It’s not conforming. I like that! Happy Pride!

Very much a long shot, I know, but worth a try:
Were you at No Kings in Seattle today and accidentally left with a giant intersex flag? I would like it back, if that's possible. Would you be able to drop it off at the Seattle Aces & Aros booth at Cap Hill Pridefest on the 28th? Thank you!

Or you can get it back to me at the Seattle Aces & Aros booth at Everett Pride next weekend.

If not, I'd like to think that it has found a better home than my personal collection, so use it well and send pictures of its travels!

Happy Pride, we will not be forgotten! We brought intersex visibility to WORLD PRIDE. Being out & proud as intersex isn't always easy. We can face misunderstanding & stigma—even in LGBTQIA+ spaces. But we also find community. We find resilience. We represent the beauty & diversity of intersex lives.
interACT Staff, Youth, friends & parents of intersex people march in the World Pride parade carrying an interACT banner. They wear yellow and purple, several wear intersex flags as capes, and they carry mini intersex flags. The audience looks on from the sidewalk. Closest to the camera is Apollo, in a purple bandana and mask, who wears a shirt with the intersex flag and an intersex moth. He also carries the asexual flag in his pocket. interACT staff Maddie and Bria smile under an intersex flag. Maddie is a white nonbinary person and has blue eyeliner, lipstick and curly hair, with a nose piercing and chain. Bria is a Black nonbinary person with curly hair pulled back and glasses. Both wear a shirt with the intersex flag and an intersex moth. Staff member Apollo and a youth member smile at the interACT table at world pride. The table has an interACT banner and lots of materials, buttons, stickers and resources. It also has a quiz wheel. They sit in front of a background with the intersex and the intersex-inclusive pride progress flag. A group of Pride attendees stands at the interACT booth talking to a Youth member. the interACT banner is visible and intersex flags are strung along the front.
